Description
The Invacare Essential Plus is an entry level pressure ulcer prevention mattress designed for the community healthcare environment. Practical and durable, this mattress offers comfort, support and pressure redistribution at a cost effective price. The Essential Plus is suitable for those considered at 'High Risk’ of developing pressure ulcers.
The core of the Invacare Essential Plus is constructed from a series of 'keyhole cut' cells, which move independently to evenly distribute weight, promoting greater comfort and facilitating pressure ulcer prevention. The outer cover is a multi stretch, water resistant, polyurethane fabric providing excellent recovery and durability which helps to reduce shear and friction forces. The cover has a white inner liner allowing easy inspection for strikethrough or other cover damage.
