Description
The Spinergy Blade LXL is one of the lightest performance wheelchair wheels on the market. Stylish and aesthetically pleasing, the Blade LXL offers top level performance and durability. The Blade LXL features a 17mm bead width rim, a new minimalistic hub design and patented PBO bladed fibre spokes - with cutting edge styling similar to high-end aero bicycle wheels.
Spinergy wheels are world renowned for quality and comfort. The patented use of fibre spokes has numerous benefits to the user. Fibre spokes act as a vibration and shock dampener as they are 25% more absorbent than steel. A smoother ride can reduce muscle spasms and body fatigue. The spokes are also much lighter than steel spokes (approximately half the weight) helping reduced the overall weight of the chair. Fibre spokes are also much stronger than steel (3x as strong) which makes the wheel able to withstand higher stresses. Combined with the custom rim and hub, Spinergy wheels are the highest performing and most reliable on the market.
The LXL features a silver hub and black rim. It is compatible with 6-Tab Handrim mounting.
