Description
The Stabilo Comfortable Plus is a back support cushion with a modelled headrest and side supports. The cushion can stabilise the whole body with extended supports that go around the user's trunk and fasten with Velcro. The cushion forms an anatomically-fitted corset and is intended for users with cerebral palsy (spastic quadriplegia) with low muscle tone in the trunk. It is also suitable for users with severe athetosis. A Velcro neoprene (thoracic) strap is included.
The Stabilostablising system works using vacuum preserving of a modelled shape. A special pump helps to deflate the cushion, allowing it to harden into the required shape. The shape and hardness can be changed very easily. A hand pump is included with this cushion.
