Evacuscape chairs are designed to provide safe and reliable means of escape for elderly, disabled, pregnant or injured people from buildings with stairs. Wheels at the front of the frame allow an operator to move the chair on flat ground or landings, while speed-controlled caterpillar-style glide tracks make moving down stairs smooth and simple.
The Evacuscape EC1 features under-seat emergency lighting, an ergonomic padded seat with solid seat-back, a secure lap-belt (with optional leg restraint) and locking rear wheel castors. The EC1 comes with a smart protective cover and wall bracket for mounting. The EC1 is made from lightweight aluminium for ease of handling, weighing only 12.5kg in total.
