Hybrid air and foam cushion
Description
The Ottobock Evoflair features one visco foam cell and two gel foam cells which can be controlled single-handedly via a user-friendly valve.
The upper layer of the cushion is made with Geltouch foam, with its cooling properties. This helps to reduce surface temperature, and helps to decrease the risk of tissue breakdown due to managing microclimate conditions.
The central layer hosts the cells which combine a technology of air and foam. The central cell is visco foam and the outer cells are gel foam. The adjustable air cells increase the level of immersion and envelopment into the cushion and increase surface area interface between the user and cushion. This increases the effect of pressure distribution and comfort for the seated individual.
The air is adjusted by the easy to use valve which can be used one handed with no need of a pump. This reduces the need for maintenance and additional parts while offering the highest levels of pressure redistribution and comfort.
The cushion cover is made from a breathable mesh material which can be easily cleaned and allows air flow. The cover is waterproof and stretches in two ways for better shape conformity.
