Skeed is a pair of wheels that incorporates a unique braking system at it's centre. A fixed operating lever, directly connected to the hub, allows you to slow down and immobilise your wheelchair, even without gripping!

Skeed introduces a dedicated actuation lever that activates an internal caliper mechanism to brake at the wheel hub.
Weighing just 2.15kg per wheel in it's standard configuration (including aluminium push rim), Skeed makes transfers much easier and significantly reduces the overall weight of your wheelchair.
With Skeed, a simple backward movement of the brake lever lets you finely control your speed. Even in turns, it's progressive braking allows you to smoothly anticipate your trajectory - without the jerks typical of conventional wheels.
With Skeed, braking becomes effortless: one hand on the push rim and a single finger on the lever are all you need to slow down or stop - with five times less effort! Behind this ease of use is an ingenious cam system that applies progressive friction between the frame and the wheel.
