The Arjo Sara Stedy enables users who are more mobile to stand up without worry in a wide range of care situations. This helps to minimise the risk and effort that comes from normal manual assistance, making this everyday routine a far simpler and easier process that takes less time out of the patient's day.
The Sara Stedy comes with several enhanced features such as a pivoting divided seat and pedal-operated chassis legs to ensure improved comfort and support for the user. Due to a larger inner seat width, a newly-designed seat shape and a working load capability of 182 kg, the Sara Stedy meets the needs of a range of patients. The Stedy allows for smooth and easy transport through corridors and doorways, while offering a more dignified and independent alternative to a wheelchair. Health benefits are also provided by encouraging patients to take an active role in transfers. The Sara Stedy promotes improved circulation, breathing, digestion and muscle tone.
The Sara Stedy is available in Standard and Compact sizes, to suit users of different heights. The Compact is suitable for users from 1.38m to 1.72m in height. The Standard is suitable for users from 1.49m to 1.93m in height.
